See Yourself at BB&N

Poke your head into a BB&N classroom and look at the faces. Big smiles and serious eyes. Faces full of delight and curiosity. Faces that say, “You look like an interesting person. There's an empty seat here next to me.” From students to faculty, at Buckingham Browne and Nichols those faces form a remarkable community of learners. It's a place of exuberance and challenge, playfulness and reflection. A place to find out whom you want to be and to make friends of every age, for life.

Whether you enter BB&N in Beginners, Grade 7 or as a freshman (or anywhere in between) the School provides many opportunities to become part of the community outside of the classroom and the playing field.

In addition to campus specific programs, BB&N students and families are invited to many community events throughout the academic year, these include: Asian Cultural Society Dinner, SADD Family Dinners, Theatre Performances, Mother/Daughter Dinner, Parents' Association Meetings, Kwanzaa Celebration, Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, Grandfriends Days, Gospel Concert, Diversity Appreciation Dinner, Voice and Instrumental Concerts, Soup Bowl Dinner, Senior/Faculty Dinner, Director's Coffees, Head of the Charles Regatta, Athletic Team Dinners, Inclusiveness Trainings, Art Exhibition Receptions, Parent & Alumni/ae Forums, Annual Circus, and much more...

QUOTES

"BB&N is a community that asks a lot of itself and of the individuals within: our extraordinary students, remarkable faculty, and uncommon parent body. Each of us is united by a shared mission - to tend sensitively and directly to the needs and growth of every student, every day."
- Rebecca T. Upham, Head of School
