ARTS
BB&N considers the arts a vital component of each student's educational experience. Through a wide range of courses and extracurricular offerings, students are exposed both to performance arts and visual arts. Arts faculty are teacher-artists who make extensive use of the cultural resources of the Boston-Cambridge area to enhance classroom and studio offerings.
As students investigate what the process of making art is all about, they discover the creativity that is within them. They also learn the essentials of the process, and acquirie and refine techniques. In 1993, BB&N began an in-depth collaboration with Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. This ongoing partnership brings the vast majority of students from all three campuses to the Museum. These visits are not mere field trips. Instead, they extend the curriculum into a new dimension.
