How to Apply

We are pleased that you are interested in Buckingham Browne & Nichols School and look forward to working closely with you throughout the admission process. To apply, please download our application packets on the right or call the appropriate campus Admission office for an application form. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We encourage you to submit each part of the application as it is completed. We request that the entire application,
including your scores on the SSAT or the ISEE, be received in the Admission Office on or before January 15.

In addition, please schedule an interview with a member of the Admission Committee as soon as possible, and no later than January 15. We strongly prefer not to receive parts of applications by fax, except from international applicants.

Tours And Interview
In the fall and early winter, Grade 6, Middle School, and Upper School applicants and their families must visit BB&N for a tour and an interview with a member of the Admission Committee.

Parents' of Lower School (grades B-5) applicants must also schedule a parents/guardians interview and tour in the fall and early winter. An applicant evaluation visit will then be scheduled. For Lower School applicants, Beginners must be four years old and applicants for Kindergarten must be five years old by September 1 of their entering year. Once accepted, your child does not need to reapply to BB&N's Middle and Upper Schools. BB&N does reserve the right to reassess from time to time the appropriateness of the match between BB&N and the student. Beginners, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 are given individual appointments. Applicants for Grades 2 through 6 attend a Lower School Admission Day in late January or early February. Please see Admission Dates and Deadlines for more information.
