The Upper School

There is no typical student at BB&N. Students can be who they are and become who they were meant to be. The Upper School gives a lot of opportunities for exploration - from journeying into intellectual outer limits to testing the waters of team sports to leaping into the dramatic unknown of the stage. It is a place where everyone takes risks because it is safe enough to do so.

The Upper School emphasizes self-discipline, problem-solving, and daily engagement with the task of learning. We encourage students to pursue their interests with passion and to meet their obligations with enthusiasm. We value a diversity of opinion, talent, and backgrounds. But we are united in our appreciation of hard work, individual achievement, and intellectual ambition.
